Ren sent his daughter to Nightshade Academy at the age of 11 where she studied blood magic as a member of the Innate house. She graduated in seven years with her senior project being an essay on the history of vampires.
In the two years since her graduation, she has been following her father in the royal court. She has picked up dueling and has shown signs of being as good as her father, she does not enjoy it quite as much, however. She prefers riding her horse in the wilderness in the evening and hunting at night.
