Rumors

The palace is partially collapsed though being repaired. There are rumors of giant tentacles coming out of the ground, a battle on palace grounds and a giant green dragon coming to the defense of Britain. The scattered reports making it out of the battlefield say that all are well and the fighting is over.

A mysterious new girl appeared on campus. She isn't taking classes, no one seems to know who she is and she wanders around doing and say very strange things. When pressed, she says her name is River.

Professor Conrad says she can't possibly be River as he knows exactly where and when River is.

Children all around the Empire have been going missing for a period of time less than a day, after which they return. The only thing these children have in common is that they are all the children of Sparks.

The strange girl River who had been confusing many of the students by appearing on the ceiling and speaking strange things has apparently settled down and enrolled in classes as a Spark house first year. Her brother, Simon, will be staying on as an aid in the nurse's office.

Word has it that the remaining colonists in North America were slaughtered, except for the children, by the natives under the banner of their goddess. The children were adopted into the tribes.

Rumors speak of a portal opening in France and men in strange clothing pouring out of it. The rumors say they were well armed and carried strange apparently magical devices which they were using on people. No one is quite sure what they were doing. The towns they have taken aren't allowing people to leave or enter.

[For all students who were involved in the wackiness in France, the following note appeared in your room.]

I need to speak with you asap about your little trip to France and a new friend you...acquired. The green one, you know who I mean. Report to classroom 1A in primary tonight at 7:30pm. I'll bring snacks. Don't bring her.

The following rumors reach the school:

Prince George Cunningham was found dead in his cradle. The cause is unknown.

Ladyknight Sherril Dawnrose went into labor today, despite her child being over a year premature. She is currently in the care of the palace healers. The child did not survive.

Mysterious deaths are being reported all throughout Albania.

A dragon crash landed near Cardiff sometime in the night. No one is sure what brought it down. It appears to be a very large drake on first inspection, but none of the groups that have gone to investigate further have returned.

The whole of Europe: The weather is cloudy and overcast. Clouds do not react to air or water bending.

British Empire: Lord Commander Aiden of the Twilight Blades has officially retired. The new commander has already been chosen from among the ranks. She intends to pull back some of the forces abroad and focus on clean-up inside Britain's borders.

At the School, particularly Spark House: Rumors are going around that Annie may be losing her touch. According to the stories, she started to go into Madness Place and when the project she was working on exploded rather dramatically, she dropped out of Madness Place completely and started to sob.
